About Me

Emily is a Pacific Northwest native who currently splits her time between Downieville, California, Reno, Nevada, and Vancouver, Washington.

She received her bachelors of science from the University of Washington. Her degree is in Environmental Science and Terrestrial Resource Management with a focus in Wildlife Conservation and a minor in Quantitative Science. She is currently enrolled in Oregon State University's Geographic Information Science graduatecertificate. 

For the past three years Emily has worked for the Tahoe National Forest on the Yuba River Ranger District as a wildlife and fisheries biological technician. She surveys for California Spotted Owls, Northern Goshawks, and Sierra Nevada Yellow-Legged Frogs. 

In her freetime, she enjoys hiking, reading, and adventuring with her boyfriend, Travis, and his dog, Ralph.
